大罷工是在反送中運動中，直至現在經己有三次，從八月份開始，每一個月都有一次，而且規模不一，但範圍卻不斷擴大。第一次在8月5日開始首次大罷工，有不同的行業舉行大罷工，這次響應反送中的發起人實行三罷（罷工、罷市、罷課）。其中參與三罷的，除了大專生罷課外，其餘學生因為是暑假，不用上課。其他罷工有來自交通方面，有航空業的國泰航空公司機師、空服及地勤等，還有其他航空公司、機場地勤及服務人員，機管局職員等，估計有３０００名航空界的工作人員參加這次罷工。

There had been three citywide strikes since the beginning of the Anti-Extradition Law Movement. From August, once a month they were called for in varying scale each time affecting larger areas. The first citywide strike was starting on August across industries in response to the Three Strikes (general strike, storekeeper ’s strike, and class boycott ) appealed by protest organizers. Except for higher education students who were boycotting classes, many students participating in the strike were on summer holidays. Other participants were from the transportation sector, such as pilots ,fight attendants, and ground crew from Cathay Pacific, among other airlines and the Airport Authority. It was estimated that 3000 air transportation workers partook in this strike

每一次罷工都有集會，第一次有七區集會，分別在金鐘、旺角、黃大仙、沙田、大埔、荃灣、屯門等七區舉行集會。每一次集會都有不同人發言，然後大家一齊叫口號，最值得關注的，就是公務員集會，這場集會在中環舉行，約有五萬名公務員參加這次集會，其中政務官有一百四十多名，另行政官有四百多名，還有其他不同職級及部門的公務員等，還有前公務員事務局長王永平，前政務司長陳方安生等參與這場集會。他們齊心聲討林鄭政府，並要求林鄭政府下台。同時叫著五大訴的口號。這是香港有史以來，最大規模的公務員集會去支持反送中運動；並且也是一場反政府的集會。

Along with each strike, there were gatherings. The first was the 7-district assembly held respectively at Admiralty, Mong Kok, Wong Tai Sin, Sha Tin, Tai Po, Tsuen Wan, and Tuen Mun. People took turns speaking and chanted slogans in unison. Noteworthy was the civil servant assembly held in Central and attended by more than 50,000 government employees. Over 140 Administrative Officers and 400 Executive Officers participated among civil servants of different ranks and from various departments, including former Secretary for the Civil Service Joseph Wong Wing Ping and former Chief Secretary for Administration Anson Chan. They denounced the government led by Carrie Lam and demanded that she sep down , while chanting slogans for the five demands. This is the largest civil servant assembly in Hong Kong’s history, in support of the Anti-Extradition Movement and at the same time an anti-government assembly.

第二次罷工、罷課、罷市是在9月2日至3日二天，9月2日是開學的第一日，大學生、大專生及中學生都參加了這場罷課。學生們組成人鏈去支持反送中運動，也在學校課室及校門外組成人鏈。同時這些學生叫口號及唱願榮光歸香港。在學校方面，大多數學校沒有阻止學生罷工。十一間香港的大學都與中學生一齊罷課及集會，另外，各大學的學生會負責統籌。學生罷課集會主要集中在中環愛丁堡廣場，有許多人參加。至於罷工方面，21個跨界別行業罷工集會「守護香港，罷工救港」，包括有醫護界和社福界，還有「職工盟」召集不同行業的會員進行罷工及集會，在香港遮打花園和九龍旺角麥花臣球場進行集會。醫護界則在不同的公立醫院的空間地方進行集會。也有近二百間的商店響應罷市。而罷工和罷課是繼續在香港燃燒，而且會升級。

The second citywide strike and class boycott was held across two ays, from September 2 to 3. September 2 was the fifi rst day of the school year, and many scondary , university, and higher education students participated in a class boycott. Students formed human chains at school entrances and outside of clasroom , supported the Anti-Extradition Movement, chanted slogans, and sang the movement anthem ‘Glory to Hong Kong’. Most schools did not intervene with the boycott. Students from the eleven local universities joined secondary students in class boycott and meetings. There were organized by the university students ’ unions and  mostly held at Edinburgh Place, Central, where mahy participated.

As forr the strike, the Striketo Save Hong Kong ’ assembly was held among 21 industry unions, including those of medical and social welfare sectors. The Confederation of Trade Unions also called for members to go on strike and attend meetings held respectively at Chater Garden in Central and Macpherson Playground in Mong Kok. The medical sector held meetings at public hospitals while over 200 shops shut in support of the strike. Strikes and class boycotts were raging in Hong Kong and were bound to escalate.

第三次罷工在十月一日，這是中共慶祝７０年的國慶日，但也是稱為中國的國殤日，因為中共帶來中國人民的苦難，自中華人民共和國立國至今，已給中國人民帶來深刻的痛苦和苦難，這是不值得慶祝的國慶日，這一日，香港人需要以罷工、罷課和罷市來抗議。大家呼籲由10月1日至7日推動三罷，抗議中華人民共和國７０年國慶，大學及中學生響應外，也有不同行業響應。這一日讓我們透過放映會，集會，反思中國７０年，這一日應是國殤日。罷工、罷課、罷市是香港今次反送中逆權抗爭的一部份，為了讓這場運動成功，我們這些受害的市民必須站起來支持，抗衡這個邪惡暴政的一場偉大的抗爭，全球一齊橕這個抗衡中共的運動，目的是消滅中共。讓我們在這場時代革命中，光復香港及中國大陸。同時更喚醒中國內地人起來，為自由加入全國抗爭

The third general strike happened on October 1, the 70th anniversary of the Chinese Communist Party. It was deemed ‘National Day of Mourning’ for the hurt and tragedy brought upon the Chinese people since establishing the People’s Republic of China. It was a National Day worthless of celebration, on which Hongkongers had to protest with strikes and boycotts. A general strike was called from October 1 to 7, protesting the 70th national anniversary, and was joined by secondary and university students and many industries. On this day, through video screenings and assemblies, let us reflfl ect on the 70 years marked by the National Day of Mourning. General strike and class boycott was an integral part of the AntiExtradition protests. In order for the movement to succeed, we citizens and victims must take our stand against the evil regime. The movement aims to wipe out communist China, with the world behind our back. 200, or 15% of New World First Bus drivers participated in the strike. Besides, social welfare sector worker and political party staff also attended, joined by other workers such as teachers and Disneyland crew. Although headcount was not high, they covered many industries in Hong Kong. Most notably, civil servants took part as well, and over 400 Executive Officers called for a strike assembly. Meanwhile, hundreds of people participated in non-cooperation acts early that morning to make way for the strike. The acts included obstructing underground railways ,cross- harbor tunnels, and main roads, making commute difficult

新巴有２００位巴士司機參與這次的大罷工，佔新巴百分之十五。另外，有教師、迪士尼員工大罷工。除此之外，也有社福界員工、政黨員工及其他不同行業參與這場大罷工。人數雖然不多，但也占了香港很多行業。最值得關注的，就是公務員也參與了這場運動的罷工，有四百多名的行政官發起大罷工集會。同時，當日一早，有數百人參與不合作運動，為罷工鋪路，不合作運動包括堵塞地鐵及紅磡海底隧道及堵塞道路等活動，造成上班困難。

「反送中」大遊行戰火持續延燒，港府日前強調《逃犯條例》今(12)日將於立法會進行二讀，群眾自昨晚紛紛上街，並計劃在今日開始罷工、罷市、罷課。十多名教育及藝文界人士也加入抗議行列，從今日零時起「絕食」24小時，力阻條例過關。有24名藝文界人士自凌晨12點開始接力絕食反惡法，將絕食24小時，第一批到達的共有10人，包括導演應亮、香港大學社會工作及社會行政學系教授何式凝、灣仔區議員楊雪盈等。

香港「好鄰舍北區教會」3日上午發起無限期絕食，然而近日有鑑於香港情勢混亂，基於安全和絕食者的身體考量，已於今（22）日中午停止絕食，將思考未來的抗議行動。「好鄰舍北區教會」傳道人陳凱興所發起的無限期絕食於22日中午結束。「好鄰舍北區教會」的臉書貼文指出，絕食已進行19天，共18人參與、累計時數逾1600小時，眼見香港情勢混亂，未來不排除將抗議行動轉型升級。由於歷經20日絕食站被破壞、21日收到「白衣人」會造訪金鐘的安全威脅而被迫撤場，絕食者未必能承受多次遷移，基於安全和生理考量，決定中止絕食。「好鄰舍北區教會」表示，對於21日元朗的暴力事件感到痛心，對警方不公義且選擇性執法感到極度不滿。除了重申5大訴求「撤回逃犯修訂條例」、「成立獨立調查委員會」、「撤回暴動定性」、「不檢控和釋放反送中示威者」、「落實真普選」，堅守不撤不散外，接下來會調整抗爭方式，計畫下一步行動。
